The Tuross Fishing Club Flathead & Bream Tournament is a prestigious estuary competition held on the beautiful Tuross River, South Coast NSW.

The Tuross Head Fishing Club Flathead and Bream Tournament is a lure and fly only competition held annually over the Canberra Day long weekend. The competition is strictly catch and release within the boundaries of the Tuross River and its tributaries.

2026 will be our 15th year and held over March 6, 7, 8. Fishing will take place Saturday from 7am to 5pm and Sunday 7am to 3pm. The number of entries is strictly capped at 250.

There are only two entry categories, Junior (sixteen years and younger) and Adult. The entry fee is $160 for adults and $95 for Juniors. All entrants will receive a fishing shirt and meal as part of their entry.

Prizes – Shimano is our ongoing major sponsor and provides high-end quality rods and reels for category winners, with a total prize pool over $8,000. Spot prizes and raffles are also held over the Tournament period.
