Coastal Walk: One Tree Point to Coila Lake
A walk north from One Tree Point offers some of the best coastal scenery in Tuross Head. Starting at this iconic lookout, you can follow the path toward Plantation Point and along the coast to Coila Lake.
Along the way, you’ll pass quiet beaches, rocky headlands, and open views of the ocean. During whale season, this stretch is especially rewarding, with frequent sightings just offshore. You may also spot dolphins or seabirds as you walk.
The track continues around the foreshore of Coila Lake, where calm waters and bushland create a peaceful contrast to the open coast. It’s a great option for a longer walk, or you can simply explore shorter sections at your own pace.
